Biography
Born in 1983 in Sweden, Carl Ryden eventually left his native country to pursue a career as a songwriter and producer for several notable artists. Based out of L.A., Ryden established himself through a number of high-profile collaborations including writing credits on David Guetta's 2007 single "You're Not Alone" and Alexandra Burke's 2012 track "Beating Still," which he also produced. In 2014, he wrote and produced "Not Giving Up" for the British-Irish girl group the Saturdays, and that same year he signed a publishing deal with Major 3rd Music Publishing Ltd. and BMG Chrysalis Ltd. In 2017, he earned writing, vocal, and production credits on British pop band Steps' "Scared of the Dark," which was featured on their fifth studio album Tears on the Dancefloor.
