Biography
The Jaguars were a quintet from Columbus, Ohio, whose members included Dan Masys on lead vocals and lead guitar, Dave Sampson on bass, Jim Kelly on keyboards, and Jon Rickley on drums. Formed from two local high schools, they were winners of a regional band contest and cut several acetates, of which Two Can Play (written by Masys) is a wonderfully sophisticated recording, with harmonies and keyboard parts that compare favorably to the contemporary work of the Zombies. The group evolved into the Baroque Monthly with the same membership. ~ Bruce Eder, Rovi
