Biography
Composer, leader, piano. Successful bandleader and arranger though his records from '50s on have limited jazz connections. He's arranged for Sammy Kaye, Hal McIntyre, Charlie Barnet and Alvino Rey, before he began touring with his own band in 1950. ~ Ron Wynn, Rovi
