DELLAFUENTE
from Granada, Spain
Biography
Elusive Spanish rapper DELLAFUENTE plays a fiery, sentimental mix of Auto-Tune-laced hardcore hip-hop, reggaeton, and flamenco. Not wanting to restrict his sound to one genre, he simply refers to his work as "Música Folklórica Atemporal," or "Timeless Folk Music." He has released several albums, mixtapes, and singles since 2015, including numerous collaborations with singer Maka.
A native of Grenada, Spain, DELLAFUENTE first surfaced in 2014 as a guest artist on tracks by Maka and Vicente el Vicio. The full-length Azulejos de Corales and mixtape Recopilatorio, as well as several singles, appeared online in 2015, and attracted hundreds of thousands of listeners. His second album, Ansia Viva, was released in 2016, and numerous singles followed, including the 2017 hit "Guerrera," a collaboration with wildly popular Spanish rapper C. Tangana. ~ Paul Simpson, Rovi
