Glasgow, Scotland's Superstar play updated power-pop like their old friends Teenage Fanclub, but singer/guitarist Joe McAlinden's classical upbringing means that strings and some brass appear. McAlinden met Nellie Grant and Raymond Prior in early 1992 and the trio began to practice, recording an EP that spring.
