Dawson takes advantage of the rich artistic opportunities of the Big Apple. He has been the on-camera pianist for several television soap operas and has been requested to play for such luminaries as Mikhail Gorbachev, William F. Buckley, Jr., Richard Nixon, Hillary Clinton, and Danielle Steele.
His concert experience includes touring with Columbia Artists in a 12-piece ensemble as pianist/synthesist. In 1992, he began touring with "Sound Images," giving concerts of original works and Broadway and movie themes, and then embarked on "Breaking the Rules," an interactive family concert combining discussion, story, and music. His first album, Breaking the Rules, includes both original works and arrangements of standards and was released in 1997 on the Audio Alternatives label. ~ Carol Wright, Rovi
