Biography
Guitarist Robbie McIntosh has fine-tuned himself as a desired sessions musician, and his long tenure playing alongside Paul McCartney and the Pretenders has established such notoriety. He has also rendered music with Dutch sax phenomenon Candy Dulfer, Joe Cocker, Phil Collins, Annie Lennox, and Carl Perkins, and McIntosh's expansive career hails back to the early '80s. He is classically trained, an acoustic perfectionist, and, aside from his collaborative work, Robbie McIntosh has maintained a low-profile, yet distinguished solo career. The Robbie McIntosh Band released Emotional Bends in early 2000, and followed up with Unsung later that fall. Wide Screen appeared in spring 2001. ~ MacKenzie Wilson, Rovi
