Grady's debut single, a relaxed, summery tune called "Garden," was produced by Cuco and Melvv, and created a bit of a buzz when it was released in 2018. "Clothesline," a more overtly rap-influenced song with more experimental production, appeared around the same time. In 2019, Grady opened the floodgates and began delivering singles in quick succession. Songs like "500 Days of Summer" and especially the Cailin Russo collaboration "Open" fared well on streaming platforms. His EP A Place We Can Always Go. appeared in May 2020. After collaborating with lovelytheband on the single "The Idea of You," Grady released his debut full-length, The Love Umbrella, in 2021. This was shortly followed by an alternate version, The Love Umbrella (Slowed). ~ Paul Simpson, Rovi
