Mexico's Mario Bautista is a pop vocalist with a bright dance and R&B-influenced sound. Born in Mexico City in 1996, Bautista grew up in a musical family, the son of Hermanas Gil singer Gloria Gil and cousin to pop artist Fey. By his teens, Bautista was balancing his high-school studies with nighttime dance and vocal lessons. However, it wasn't until after going to college that he began sharing his life via various social media platforms, posting videos of himself singing, rapping, and dancing. He quickly developed a large fan following and began working with producers on his own solo material.
