Goblin Rebirth came together in 2015, inspired by (and partially formed by members of) Goblin, the Italian progressive rock band that recorded the majority of their music for horror film soundtracks -- many with director Dario Argento. The group formed around original Goblin bassist Fabio Pignatelli and mid-'70s-era-and-beyond drummer Agostino Marangolo, along with Aidan Zammit, Danilo Cherni, and Giacomo Anselmi.
