Born in 1953, Charles O'Meara -- also known as C.W. Vrtacek -- began playing guitar at the age of 11. He was the guitarist in Forever Einstein beginning at the group's inception, and also recorded with the Colorado-based experimental collective Biota. He also released several solo albums. Before Forever Einstein, he played with Forever Einstein drummer John Roulat in a group called Dancing Lessons. ~ Gary Hill, Rovi
