Hip-hop and house-inspired alias of Derwin Dicker (aka Gold Panda), heavily inspired by sample culture and reliance on loops.

Named after the De la Soul track "Jenifa Taught Me (Derwin's Revenge)," Dicker used his DJ Jenifa alias to record lo-fi, sample-based house music, initially just as something to listen to while driving an old 2003 S-type Jaguar he had bought from a neighbor. DJ Jenifa's debut, 2019's Jag Trax, was recorded in 2015, around the time Dicker was working on Good Luck and Do Your Best. ~ Liam Martin, Rovi
