Scott Pinkmountain
Biography
Scott Pinkmountain was born Scott Rosenberg and earned a degree from Mills College. He pursued a career as an avant-garde jazz saxophonist and founded the band Pinkmountain. In 2003, he adopted "Pinkmountain" as his last name and formed the band PAF, writing all the songs for its 2006 album Fingerprints, Medicine. The group's second album, Phoenix, appeared in 2007, but it disbanded in 2008. Pinkmountain then spent six months crafting his debut solo album, which emerged as The Full Sun, credited to Scott Pinkmountain the Golden Bolts of Tone on the Howells Transmitter label on February 10, 2009. ~ William Ruhlmann, Rovi
