Biography
A platinum-selling American CCM singer/songwriter and part of Bethel Church's international Christian revivalist youth ministry Jesus Culture, Kristene DiMarco was born Kristene Elizabeth Mueller in Niagara Falls. DiMarco's amiable and expressive blend of praise & worship, folk, and pop was first introduced in 2008 via her debut album, Those Who Dream, which was released through Jesus Culture Music and later reissued by Kingsway Music. A sophomore outing, Safe Place, appeared in 2013, followed in 2015 by the Sparrow-issued Mighty. The following year saw DiMarco join the Bethel Music Collective, and in 2017 she released Where His Light Was. Her most successful effort to date, the album reached number three on Billboard's Top Christian Albums chart. DiMarco's fourth long-player, The Field, appeared in 2022 and featured a set of pop and blues-rock-inflected worship songs. ~ James Christopher Monger, Rovi
