Formed in 2014 in New York City, Prelow is the laid-back electropop duo of Jesse Aicher and Matt Walsh, two songwriter/producer/multi-instrumentalists who met as students at NYU's Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music. One of the earliest songs from their partnership, "Mistakes Like This," became a streaming hit after its release in mid-2014. They signed with Atlantic Records, and their debut EP, Why Does Everything Happen So Much, arrived in early 2015.
