Indie pop band Saturnine formed in New York in 1994 when singer/guitarist Matt Gallaway and bassist Mike Donofrio met while studying law. After enlisting drummer Jim Harwood and guitarist Jennifer Baron, the group issued their debut EP, Autoglider; their full-length debut, Wreck at Pillar Point, followed in 1995.
