Biography
The Exits were late-70s mod-revivalists fondly remembered by specialists for their mod classic, "The Fashion Plague." The band was formed in South London in 1975 by Colin Swan (bass) and Geno Buckmaster (guitar) with John Clarkston (keyboards) and Gary Hurley (drums). By 1978, the Exits had jumped on the mod bandwagon started by the Jam, releasing their sole single on Lightning Records. Swan and Buckmaster disbanded the group in November 1980 to form The Direct Hits. ~ Chris Woodstra, Rovi
