Based in Athens, GA, Anne Richmond Boston began singing with alternative rockers the Swimming Pool Q's in the early '80s; the band recorded for AM and Capitol during throughout the '80s, but had split by the time Boston began her solo career with Big House of Time, a 1990 album recorded for the DB label.
