Thijs Westbroek, aka Brooks, was born and raised in the Netherlands and his production skills were picked up by the Dutch electronic duo Showtek for their boutique dance music label, 2-Dutch. Beginning in 2015 with "Alamo," Brooks put out a run of singles that gained him the support of a number of notable DJs, including Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike, and Fedde Le Grand.
