Faith No More/Mr. Bungle singer Mike Patton and noise manipulator Masami Akita of Merzbow collaborated under the name Maldoror, blending the extreme vocals Patton displayed on his solo albums for John Zorn's Tzadik label and Akita's intense sonics.
