Born in Philadelphia, RJ Glasgow began making homemade dance edits of pop and hip-hop hits when he was in high school. He later moved to New York City and became affiliated with the GHE20G0TH1K crew. His first release as LSDXOXO, 2013's Softcore, included collaborations with queer rappers Cakes da Killa and Le1f, as well as Jersey club queen UNiiQU3. This was followed by releases such as 2014's Whorecore, 2015's Sacanagem, and 2016's GHE20G0TH1K-issued Fuck Marry Kill, which gained notoriety for its club remix of Kanye West's "Freestyle 4." 2018's Body Mods, which included club edits of hits by Depeche Mode, Missy Elliott, and Mr. Vegas, became an instant underground favorite.
Glasgow moved to Berlin and established his Floorgasm event, which he started in New York, as a monthly series. He released the mixtape Waiting 2 Exhale in 2020, followed by the single "Dying for It 2021." Dedicated 2 Disrespect, his 2021 debut EP for XL, contained four tracks that focused on his own sexually charged vocals rather than samples. ~ Paul Simpson, Rovi
