Biography
An eminent Polish composer whose early style was influenced by German romanticism. About 1917, his music began to show an awareness of Scriabin and impressionism and a new style began to emerge. As a director of the Warsaw Conservatory, his compositions and teaching had a strong impact on Polish music.
