Biography
DK was one of the chief purveyors of slushy love songs in the kikuyu pop world. As befits the adolescent theme of much of his music, DK recorded his first three records in 1967, while still at school. He continued to record in this vein through the '90s. In 1990 he formed a new outfit, the Lulus Band, which addressed more socially oriented topics, including human rights, ethnic strife, and politics. ~ Leon Jackson, Rovi
