Biography
English dance music producer and DJ Ray Foxx debuted on the Defected label in 2011 with "The Trumpeter," a single featuring vocalist Lovelle. That track, as well as the 2012 follow-up "Butterflies," failed to gain much traction, but Foxx turned the corner in 2013 with the Strictly Rhythm/Island release "Boom Boom (Heartbeat)." Fronted by Welsh singer Rachel K. Collier, the song -- issued that August -- reached number two on the U.K. dance chart and crossed into the main U.K. singles chart to top out at number 12. ~ Andy Kellman, Rovi
