Greg Adams
Biography
Toronto-native Greg Adams majored in communications at Montreal's Loyola University, singing folk songs around the area. He became an editor for Sporting Good News and, after shopping his demo around, signed with A&M. The label, however, released only one single, "Take the Road" (1972). Over the next five years, Adams wrote songs, acted, and formed a songwriting partnership with Eric Robertson (which spawned Roger Whittaker's "River Lady"). In 1977, Greg Adams signed with Attic Records; the label released his self-titled debut album the following year. ~ John Bush, Rovi
