L.A.-based Zookëper is a DJ and producer known for his pulsing, hooky sound. He initially emerged as a remixer in 2013 before issuing his own tracks "Gunz" and "Move Ya Feet" in 2015.

A New Jersey native, Michael Doerr (aka Zookëper) initially got his start as a touring guitarist with Cash Cash in the late 2000s. Following his departure from the band he began working on crafting his own electronic productions. He eventually found himself in-demand as a remixer, working on songs by Cher, Jason Derulo, and Small Pools. In 2015, he released his own original tracks "Gunz" and "Move Ya Feet." Live performances followed, including supporting slots with Tritonal, Bingo Players, and others. A remix of Hariz's "OVRBRD" arrived in 2017. The following year, he gained more attention with his remix of John Mayer's "New Light." Also in 2018, he issued the tracks "For Real" with Goshfather and "On N On" featuring Iceman. ~ Matt Collar, Rovi
