Biography
The confrontational Sauce Walka is a Houston-based rapper with an exuberant, sporadic delivery similar to Young Thug. Among his releases are the Sorry 4 the Sauce mixtape series (2015-2017) and highly animated tracks such as "Sauce Overload" (2018). He released the third volume of another mixtape series, Sauce Ghetto Gospel, in 2022.

Born Albert Walker Mondane, the rapper makes up one half of Sauce Twinz, along with Sancho Saucy. He began releasing tracks and mixtapes in 2014, as well as appearing on releases by Slim Thug and DJ Holiday. Sauce Walka gained notoriety in 2015 when he accused Drake of using Houston's hip-hop culture, stealing its dance moves, and not supporting the local hip-hop scene; during the year, he also released the first two volumes of the mixtape series Sorry 4 the Sauce. The cover of his 2016 mixtape Holy Sauce targeted Drake, as well as other rappers such as Famous Dex and Future. He ended the year with Sorry 4 the Sauce 3, and released The Sauce Father in 2017.

Sauce Walka has maintained a prolific release schedule, typically putting out multiple mixtapes per year. Drip God and two volumes of Sauce Ghetto Gospel appeared before the end of the decade. In 2020, Sauce Twinz released Lost in the Sauce, and Walka collaborated with El Trainn for Sauce Train. In 2021, the busy artist released Birdz Hunt Snakes, Sauce RB, God of Texas, and Drill Spill. AI Rage Walka, Sauce Beach Florida, and Sauce Ghetto Gospel 3 all appeared in 2022. ~ Paul Simpson, Rovi
