Delince got into the rap game after a brief stint in jail in his late teens, issuing his debut mixtape, Stick Up Kid, shortly after his release in 2016. The success of Jackboy's first full-length project lead to a signing on Kodak Black's label, Sniper Gang, in 2017. A second mixtape, New Jack City, followed, but his career was put on pause after another arrest, this time for aggravated battery and robbery. Jackboy returned two years later with his third project, 2019's JackNDaBox, which featured Kodak Black, Rick Ross, and Piles. Later the same year, he was arrested again, although this didn't stop him from releasing his fourth mixtape, Lost in My Head, that September. A fifth mixtape, the eponymously titled Jackboy, arrived in April 2020, landing at number 11 on Billboard's Top Independent Albums chart. ~ Liam Martin, Rovi
