Biography
Jeffery Hammond (also known as Jeffery Hammond-Hammond) was born in 1946. By 1963, he had met Ian Anderson and began working with him. The first result of the collaboration was a group called the Blades. That connection would come back to him later as, after taking some time away from music to pursue art, he wound up joining back up with Anderson in Jethro Tull. He spent five years with that group. After that tenure, he wound up abandoning music and returning to the pursuit of his art. ~ Gary Hill, Rovi
