The pair played together in Rhapsody from 1999-2004, releasing albums such as Symphony of Enchanted Lands II: The Dark Secret, and 2001's Rain of a Thousand Flames. In 2004, they were legally forced to change their name to Rhapsody of Fire. This version of the band issued Triumph or Agony in 2006 and global best-seller The Frozen Tears of Angels in 2010. Rhapsody of Fire split amicably in 2011 so Turilli and Lione could pursue individual projects. The duo, along with former RoF bandmates Alex Holzwarth, Patrice Guers, and Dominique Leurquin, reunited in 2017 for a 20th Anniversary Farewell Tour. It went so well, they decided to re-form as Turilli/Lione Rhapsody in 2018. In July of the following year, they issued their reunion album, Zero Gravity (Rebirth and Evolution), on Nuclear Blast. ~ Thom Jurek, Rovi
