Biography
This short-lived British beat band was a direct offshoot of the Honeycombs, organized around the latter group's founder, Martin Murray, after he quit them in November of 1964. They released one single, You Can't Blame Me for Trying b/w Bring Your Heart with You, on the Pye Records label. It failed to chart and the group broke up after approximately three months together. In response to questions in 2007, Murray -- who was still active in music at the time -- recalled that their lead singer was one Vick Long and their bassist Chris Spooner, but could not remember the names of their lead guitarist or drummer. ~ Bruce Eder, Rovi
