Blending classic California rock sounds with sleek Swedish pop, LIV is the project of Lykke Li, Miike Snow's Andrew Wyatt and Pontus Winnberg, Bjorn Yttling of Peter, Bjorn and John, and Jeff Bhasker, all of whom are also members of the Ingrid Collective. Inspired by acts such as ABBA, Fleetwood Mac, Pink Floyd, and the Everly Brothers, LIV's moniker comes from the Swedish word for "life" and is also the name of Li and Bhasker's daughter. After making their live debut in April 2016, their first single, the folky "Wings of Love" -- which features the Dap-Kings' Homer Steinweiss on drums -- arrived that September. They followed it in November with "Dream Awake" and returned with a third single, "Heaven," in June 2017. ~ Heather Phares, Rovi
