Biography
Future Polmo Polpo producer Sandro Perri collaborated with the late Todd Fox for a brief stint in 1999 and subsequently released the music as Dot Wiggin. The two met at Toronto record store Penguin Music, where Fox worked and Perri, a one-time jazz student, shopped. Following an inspiring conversation about the yearning quality of mid-'70s rock bands T. Rex and the Rolling Stones, the duo began producing tracks with a Moog, guitar, drum machine, and Echoplex. Fox's tragic drowning incident in August 1999 unfortunately cut the collaboration short. Perri released some of the duo's collaborative work on his Audi Sensa label as Dot Wiggin in August 2000. ~ Jason Birchmeier, Rovi
