Gameboy/Gamegirl are an electro-pop group from Melbourne, Australia, that emerged with a couple blog favorites in 2007 (Sweaty Wet/Dirty Damp, Fruit Salad). Comprised of Katy, Jess, and Tranter on vocals, the group most notably features producer Miami Horror (born Benjamin Vanguarde), who is also active as a solo producer, remixer, and DJ. After Sweaty Wet/Dirty Damp and Fruit Salad were written up repeatedly and circulated freely on music blogs throughout 2007, the songs were released as commercial singles in 2008 and were also compiled for release on the seven-track Golden Ghetto Sex EP on Sweat It Out Records that same year. ~ Jason Birchmeier, Rovi
