Christine Correa, an Indian-born avant-garde vocalist, has resided in the U.S. since 1979. She has performed and recorded with Steve Lacy, Ran Blake, Jeanne Lee, John LaPorta, and others. Her unique, long-standing musical relationship with pianist Frank Carlberg is documented on 1993's Ugly Beauty, 1996's The Crazy Woman, and 2000's Variations on a Summer Day.
