Biography
Weapon X Ken Hell, later known as simply X Hell, are an electro-rap duo from Melbourne, Australia, who are affiliated with the local independent label Illusive Sounds. The duo is comprised of Weapon X (producer, vocals, songwriting; born Xavier Millis) and Ken Hell (vocals, songwriting; born Daivin Verduci), and they are often joined by turntablist A-Style for live performances. Billed at the time as Weapon X Ken Hell, they made their full-length album debut in 2005 with Sneakerpimpin' Ain't Easy, which spawned a series of singles, most notably the breakout single Otherman. Well received in their homeland, the duo was nominated for an ARIA Award in the category of Best Urban Release two years in a row: in 2005 for Otherman and then in 2006 for Streetpimpin' Ain't Easy. In 2008, after some mixtape releases, X Hell returned with their second full-length album, Million Dollar Sex Party, and its lead single, Don't Stop Movin'. ~ Jason Birchmeier, Rovi
