Black Tie was a country-rock band that featured Billy Swan, Bread's Jimmy Griffith, and Randy Meisner, formerly of the Eagles, who was fresh off a failed reunion with his first band, Poco. Black Tie's lone release was a 1986 covers collection entitled When the Night Falls.
