Noble was part of a military family and moved around a lot during his early life. He eventually landed in New York City where he began his music career in the early 2010s. In addition to writing songs for other artists, Noble released a ten-song project, Rebirth of Gene, in 2014. The collection of interestingly produced R&B tracks highlighted both Noble's powerful vocals and his warm musical personality. Over the next several years, Noble released tracks here and there while his acclaim as a songwriter grew. He wrote songs for artists such as Alicia Keys, Faith Evans, and Usher, and often performed as a support act on tours for some of the artists he wrote for. In 2019, Noble joined Sting and Shaggy for parts of their NPR Tiny Desk Concert. The next year he released new single "Too Many Lost (Stand Together Mix)." ~ Fred Thomas, Rovi
