Netherlands-based producer and student at the Faculty of Art, Media & Technology, Jolan Koks -- otherwise known as Loden -- is a laptop composer specializing in glitch beats, segment splicing, and atmospheric ambience recalling Boards of Canada or Virgin Suicides-era Air. After creating two EPs in 2003, That's Left Is Right and In Zee, he retreated to the studio for the next two years, where he tinkered away on his next record.
