After songwriting journeyman Mark Mangold penned a tune for the Law [2], he decided to embark on a hard blues project of his own. Fellow wanderer Al Pitrelli, whose axe has been in the service of Doro, Alice Cooper, Widowmaker, Asia, Savatage, and many others, welcomed the chance to expand his chops and joined Mangold. Newbie bassist Mitch DeStafano, Saraya drummer Chuck Bonfante, and Tyketto vocalist Danny Vaughn (also late of White Lion and Waysted) fleshed out Flesh Blood.
