Biography
Proudly blue-collar and down to earth yet the possessor of an authoritative voice, B. Cooper (aka B.C.) is a Christian rapper who was born and raised in Alabama. During his early teenage years, he made tentative steps toward starting a music career. While attending college, he linked with long-term creative partner Dirty Rice, recorded his first album, Reflections of Self, and released it independently in 2003. For several years, music took a back seat to paying bills. He didn't release his second album, Cashier of the Month, until 2011. Three years later, he released Spare Change, as well as While the City Sleeps. The latter, a brief set that involved at least one guest artist on each of its nine tracks, debuted at number eight on Billboard's Gospel Albums chart. ~ Andy Kellman, Rovi
