The pair met in Pittsburgh and moved to Los Angeles, signing a joint venture with Scooter Braun's SB Projects and Interscope Records. Along with frequent collaborator Tommy Brown, Social House co-wrote tracks for Ariana Grande, Meghan Trainor, and DJ Khaled. In 2018, the trio also contributed to Jennifer Lopez's "Dinero" with Khaled and Cardi B. Later that summer, Social House made their official debut with the gold-certified single "Magic in the Hamptons," which featured guest Lil Yachty. In August 2019, the duo issued their debut EP, Everything Changed..., which included the single "Boyfriend" featuring Ariana Grande. In addition to going platinum, that track went on to receive a Grammy nomination for Pop Duo/Group Performance and take home an MTV Video Music Award for Song of the Summer. Additional work with Grande included production and songwriting credits on her Sweetener, Thank U, Next, and Positions albums. In 2019, Social House also assisted on K-pop group NCT 127's We Are Superhuman and featured on Lost Kings and Wiz Khalifa's "Don't Kill My High."
The duo returned in 2022 with an edgier, pop-punk-leaning sound on "Bentley Coupe" and "Sentimental" featuring Magic Whatever. ~ Neil Z. Yeung, Rovi
