Biography
Italian pop singer Rosalino Cellamare, known as Ron, got involved in the local music scene in February of 1970, after coming in seventh place at San Remo's Festival with a song called Pa' Diglielo a Ma'. The artist started composing in 1972, releasing his debut album called Il Bosco Degli Amanti that same year. As an actor, Ron participated in movies such as Vittoio De Sisti's #Private Lessons and Aldo Lado's Mascagni. In 1980, Ron recorded Una Citta' Per Cantare, followed by 1981's Al Centro Della Musica and 1982's Guarda Chi Si Vede. In 1989, Rosalino Cellamare produced Biagio Antonacci's debut album called Sono Cose Che Capitano. In 1995, the artist completed one of his major projects, a recording studio where prominent acts such as Miguel Bose and Anna Oxa have been working. In 1996, Ron became the winner of San Remo's Festival after singing Vorrei Incontrarti Tra Cent' Anni. In February of 2000, the singer celebrated his 30th career anniversary with a show called Una Citta' Per Cantare. ~ Drago Bonacich, Rovi
