James Crawford
Biography
One of a clutch of songwriters with this name in the record business, this James Crawford was credited with helping to write four of the songs on the debut album by Tennessee heavy metal band Every Mother's Nightmare in 1990. If it is a publisher's bookkeeper who is having the nightmare, it should be pointed out that this is neither the James Crawford Jr. of Iko Iko fame circa 1954 nor the mysterious "J. Crawford" credited on Bessie Smith's recording of Hustlin' Dan in 1930. ~ Eugene Chadbourne, Rovi
