Adam Again, an alternative rock act from Southern California, anticipated the synthesis of rock and funk to be later expressed by groups like the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Spin Doctors, etc. The band consists of Gene Eugene (lead vocals, guitar, keyboards), Riki Michele (backing vocals), Paul Valadez (bass), and John Knox (drums). Saxophonist Dan Michaels was a full-time member for the first album but has only sporadically appeared as a guest since then.
