David Rosenthal is a graduate of Berklee College of Music. He once played in a band called Morning Thunder with fellow BCoM student Steve Vai. Since school, he has been playing with various artists, including a seven-year tenure with Billy Joel. His other assignments have included Yngwie Malmsteen, Rainbow, and Cyndi Lauper.
