Acoustic grrrl-pop duo Tattle Tale was formed in Seattle, WA in 1992 by singers/guitarists Madigan Shive and Jen Wood, schoolmates who formed the group at the respective ages of 17 and 15. A series of compilation appearances preceded the release of Tattle Tale's debut single Early Daze, soon followed by Alder Wood Mall; in 1994, the duo also issued a self-titled demo cassette on Kill Rock Stars. After completing the full-length Sew True Tattle Tale disbanded, with Wood later mounting a solo career and Shive spearheading the chamber-punk ensemble Bonfire Madigan. ~ Jason Ankeny, Rovi
