Soft Hair is an experimental pop collaboration between New Zealand psych artist Connan Mockasin and British musician Sam Dust, who also records as LA PRIEST. The two first met in 2009 when Dust's former band, Late of the Pier, supported Mockasin on tour. They soon began collaborating in their spare time between developing their own projects, emerging over five years later with a self-titled debut LP under the name Soft Hair.
