Biography
Jack Delauge is one of a series of names used by singer Jack Grisham as a kind of multipurpose masquerade during his years with the West Coast grindcore band T.S.O.L. In 1981, Grisham was Alex Morgan on the T.S.O.L. premiere release, and he also performed under several other names, including Jack Greggors. When Grisham ran for governor of California in 2004 he decided to use his real name, not that it helped him win. Band lore suggests the aliases were also devised to keep the law off Grisham's trail, not that anyone has ever explained why they might have wanted him. The subject was not addressed during his political campaign. As for whether there's anyone willing to use his real name singing with T.S.O.L., that question constitutes the first line of a rare punk rock joke. The punch line is: Joe Wood. ~ Eugene Chadbourne, Rovi
