					Biography

Quirky, genre-bending children’s music duo the Crayonettes was formed in Newcastle, England by two moms who were fed up with all of the purple dinosaur jams and cookie cutter sing-alongs that saturated the market. Mercury Prize-nominated singer/songwriter Kathryn Williams and Anna Spencer (a former member of Newcastle punk outfit Delicate Vomit), released their debut album under the Crayonettes moniker, Playing Out:Songs for Children and Robots, in 2010. ~ James Christopher Monger, Rovi
